VENUE USE POLICY

This Venue Use Policy is incorporated into and forms part of the Social Cues Terms of Use & Booking Agreement (the “Agreement”).


1. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY

Client is responsible for all Guests attending, entering, or accessing the Venue in connection with the Booking, including invitees, contractors, entertainers, service providers, and all other attendees.

Client shall comply with, and shall ensure that all Guests comply with:

       the Agreement;

       this Venue Use Policy;

       all incorporated policies; and

       all applicable federal, state, and local laws, regulations, ordinances, and governmental requirements.

For purposes of the Agreement, the conduct of Guests shall be deemed the conduct of Client.

Client remains responsible for compliance with the Agreement and this Venue Use Policy regardless of whether Client is personally present at all times during the Booking.


2. OCCUPANCY & ACCESS

Venues are rented on an hourly basis. Access to the venue is limited solely to the Rental Period with no additional time provided for setup, breakdown, or cleanup.

The approved Guest Count and maximum Venue occupancy may not be exceeded at any time.

Additional Guests shall not be permitted entry once occupancy limits have been reached.

Occupancy may be determined through surveillance footage, access records, staff observations, photographs, videos, communications, or other reasonably reliable evidence. Social Cues’ reasonable determination of occupancy shall be presumed accurate absent clear evidence to the contrary.

Access credentials, entry instructions, and access codes are unique to each Booking, grant access only during the Rental Period, and will be provided only to Client. Client is solely responsible for maintaining their confidentiality and security. Any disclosure or misuse of access credentials by Client or Guests shall be at Client’s sole risk and responsibility.

Client shall ensure that Guests do not tamper with locks, alarms, cameras, access systems, security devices, safety equipment, or building systems.

Only individuals associated with the Booking may enter the Venue.


3. MINORS

Guests under eighteen (18) years of age must be accompanied and supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

Client assumes full responsibility for all minors attending the Venue.


4. ALCOHOL

Subject to applicable law, Guests may bring and consume alcoholic beverages within the Venue.

Client is solely responsible for:

       complying with all applicable alcohol laws;

       preventing alcohol consumption by minors;

       monitoring Guest conduct;

       taking reasonable steps to prevent impaired individuals from operating a motor vehicle; and

       ensuring that the gathering is conducted safely and responsibly.

Social Cues does not provide alcohol service, bartending services, alcohol monitoring, or alcohol-related supervision.


5. SMOKING & VAPING

Smoking, vaping, hookah use, cannabis consumption, and the use of electronic smoking devices are prohibited inside the Venue.

Guests may smoke or vape only outside of the venue and only in compliance with posted building rules or regulations and at least 25 feet from entrances where required by applicable law.

Client is responsible for ensuring that all Guests comply with this section.

Evidence of smoking or vaping inside the Venue, including smoke, vapor, odor, residue, ash, cigarette or cigar butts, burn marks, or activation of smoke detection equipment, may result in cleaning charges, damages, liquidated damages, termination of the Booking, or other remedies available under the Agreement.


6. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

The following activities are expressly prohibited:

       illegal activity;

       possession or use of weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, fireworks, or hazardous materials;

       open flames, candles, pyrotechnics, fog machines, smoke machines, or similar devices;

       unlawful gambling;

       blocking entrances, exits, hallways, elevators, stairwells, loading areas, or emergency access routes;

       conduct that creates a safety hazard, nuisance, or material disruption; and

       operating a public event or engaging in ticket sales, admission fees, cover charges, commercial, promotional, fundraising, marketing, filming-for-hire, product launches, retail, or other revenue-generating activities without Social Cues’ prior written approval.

The Venue shall be used only in a manner consistent with its approved private, invite-only use.


7. CARE OF THE VENUE

Client shall ensure that Guests use reasonable care in the use of the Venue and all furniture, fixtures, equipment, technology, décor, artwork, and amenities.

Client shall ensure that Guests do not:

       move large furniture or equipment;

       modify, remove, disable, relocate, or interfere with Venue property or equipment;

       remove furniture, fixtures, equipment, décor, artwork, signage, electronics, or other Venue property from the premises;

       misuse furniture, fixtures, equipment, technology, artwork, décor, or amenities in a manner likely to cause damage;

       place food or beverages on the pool table;

       sit, stand, dance, climb, or place excessive weight on the pool table; or

       sit, stand, dance, or climb on furniture not intended for such use.

Client shall be responsible for all damage, excessive cleaning, repairs, restoration, or replacement costs resulting from the conduct of Client or Guests.


8. DECORATIONS & INSTALLATIONS

Client may decorate the Venue provided that no decorations or temporary installations are attached to Venue property and such decorations do not damage the Venue, interfere with building systems, create safety hazards, or violate applicable law, building requirements, or the Agreement.

Client and Guests shall not:

       attach decorations or other materials to walls, ceilings, doors, windows, furniture, fixtures, or other Venue property, including by using nails, screws, staples, drills, tacks, adhesives, tapes, hooks, fasteners, or similar materials;

       suspend, hang, or attach decorations from ceilings, lighting fixtures, fire protection equipment, sprinkler systems, security devices, cameras, HVAC equipment, or other building systems;

       alter, relocate, remove, or cover Venue signage, artwork, décor, furnishings, or safety equipment; or

       install temporary structures, staging, flooring, backdrops, arches, displays, inflatables, or similar installations without Social Cues’ prior written approval.

Client shall remove all decorations and temporary installations before the conclusion of the Rental Period.


9. OPERATIONAL STANDARDS

Client shall ensure that the following operational standards are observed throughout the Rental Period.

Cleanliness

       No confetti, glitter, paint, sand, streamers, or other difficult-to-clean materials.

       No beer pong or similar high-mess activities.

       No paint-and-sip events.

Courtesy

       Noise must be maintained at a reasonable level, particularly in hallways, sidewalks, building common areas, and during arrival and departure.

       Guests shall respect neighboring occupants, neighboring businesses, and all common areas.

       Guests shall not obstruct building operations, elevators, entrances, exits, loading areas, or shared spaces.

10. CLEAN-UP & DEPARTURE

Client shall ensure that the Venue is vacated no later than the end of the Rental Period.

Client remains responsible for the Venue and all Guest conduct until the Venue has been fully vacated and secured in accordance with Social Cues’ departure instructions. Before departure, Client shall:

       remove all personal property brought into the Venue by Client or Guests;

       bag all trash and leave it inside the Venue in the designated collection area or as otherwise instructed by Social Cues;

       remove decorations and temporary installations;

       leave the Venue in substantially the same condition in which it was received, reasonable wear and tear excepted;

       secure the Venue in accordance with any departure instructions provided by Social Cues; and

       report any damage, incident, safety issue, or maintenance concern.

Property left behind may be discarded or removed by Social Cues without liability.


11. ENFORCEMENT

Violation of this Venue Use Policy may result in:

       warnings;

       activity restrictions;

       denial of entry;

       removal of Guests;

       termination of the Booking;

       assessment of fees, damages, or liquidated damages in accordance with the Agreement and Damage & Fee Schedule; and

       denial of future Bookings.

Social Cues may rely upon surveillance footage, photographs, videos, access records, communications, witness statements, incident reports, staff observations, and other reasonably reliable evidence when investigating violations of the Agreement or this Venue Use Policy.

Failure by Social Cues to enforce any provision of this Venue Use Policy in a particular instance shall not constitute a waiver of its right to enforce that provision or any other provision in the future.

VENUE RULES

GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Keep noise at a reasonable level while outside
  • Remove all personal belongings and decorations
  • Bag all trash and leave it inside the venue
  • Return the venue to the same condition in which you received it
  • Ensure the door is fully closed and securely locked upon departure
  • Avoid congregating outside the venue and respect our neighbors
PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES
  • Smoking, vaping, hookah, or illegal drug use inside the venue
  • DJs, live music performances, or other live entertainment
  • PA systems, speakers, or amplifiers
  • Selling tickets or hosting public events
  • Attaching decorations to walls, ceilings, or furniture
  • Open flames, cooking, or pyrotechnics
  • Confetti, glitter, or similar materials
  • Beer pong, paint-and-sip, or similar activities
  • Moving or removing furniture, including the pool table
  • Food or beverages on the pool table
  • Sitting, standing, or climbing on the pool table
